We’re thrilled to announce the annual “Heart Work Is Hard Work” Turkey Giveaway is happening on Monday, November 25, 2024! 🦃❤️
📍 Location: Rear parking lot of River Rouge High School - 1460 W Coolidge Hwy, River Rouge, MI 48218
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM
This year marks the 10th Anniversary of this incredible tradition, where we’ve proudly provided over 20,000 dinners to families in need. To celebrate, we’re giving away 4,000 free turkeys and all the fixings, thanks to the generous contributions from our amazing sponsors and partners: DQS, Forgotten Harvest, Wayne Mobile Health, and our wonderful volunteers.
Join us in spreading love, support, and gratitude throughout Metropolitan Detroit. Together, we can make a difference! 💖 Everyone is welcome!

For those interested in receiving a turkey but unable to attend our volunteer event, CNS Healthcare is hosting a Turkey Giveaway with four convenient pick-up locations. This event will take place on November 23rd, starting at 10:00 a.m. We recommend arriving by 8:50 a.m. to help you avoid long lines and secure your spot while supplies last!

A Message from Pastor Eddie Connor
Family, you know my heart and my mission to fight food insecurity in our community. As we expand our efforts to help those in need, I’m excited to share an incredible volunteer opportunity! TRW has teamed up with CNS Healthcare for their 12th Annual Turkey Giveaway a powerful event dedicated to feeding families this Thanksgiving season.
We need your support to help make this possible! Together, with CNS Healthcare and the Detroit Police Department, we’re aiming to bring Thanksgiving dinner to over 8,000 families right here in Metro Detroit. Let’s come together to bless others and show the power of community and compassion."
